As you can tell, this year Daxton was a lion. He hated getting into his costume, but once we got it on he liked it and was really cute in it. He would also "roar" like a lion for Doug and I, but got shy when we tried to show it off to our friends.

We took him trick-or-treating to a few houses around our neighborhood and then drove over to some of our friends houses. We had a lot of fun and Daxton really liked going up to the doors and saying "knock knock" while hitting the door with his little fist. He was a little shy about taking the candy and would just sit and look at it all until Doug or I took one and gave it to him. That actually turned out to be kind of nice, because we could pick out the "good" treats.
Here is all the loot of the night. He came home and kept saying "treat, treat!" Then he proceeded to dump his own bucket out on the floor and look at all the candy.
Here is Daxton the next day at our ward trunk-or-treat. Notice the lack of face paint, he had a little rash from the night before so we had to leave it off. He had a great day getting more candy!
