Go! Go! Go!

When Doug turned on the football game, Daxton had to come right in and check it out!
Here he is pointing at the player with the ball and telling him to "GO! GO! GO!"
Keep going!
Yeah, he got tackled so we can start over again!

When we got home from church on Sunday, Doug turned on the T.V. in search of a good football game (shocking I know). Anyways, Daxton was instantly glued to the screen (another shock). He was really into the game and started pointing and yelling at the players with the ball to "go, go, go." When the player got tackled he would clap and cheer with the fans on T.V. He continued to do this for about five minutes and then, also like his dad, went into the kitchen and asked for a "treat" and some "juice." Later that night, we went on a walk. Daxton did really well in the stroller for the first little bit and then decided that he needed to help push the stoller. Along the way, he found some little apples on the tree lawn and started a collection in the basket under the stoller. So when we made it home we had quite a collection of little apples. We made a pile on the lawn and then asked what color they were. Most of the apples were blue...pink. Some were yellow, but he would not agree that any of them were green (the actual color). We'll continue to work on the color thing, but for right now Daxton seems content to live in a blue....pink world.

Cheese!
Hmmm.... Looks blue to meLots of apples to show off!He really likes picking them up by the stem. That is how he picked them all up from the tree lawn.

All of the pictures are so cute...but the ones of him with the apples are my favorite! When are you coming to Utah next?

Maeggy, Daxton is so cute, I can't get over how excited he is watching football!! I think Jon is praying our little boy will be like that. I wish we could make a spontaneous trip to Cleveland/Kirtland or meet up in Pittsburgh...how's your October looking? Mine's looking about 8 months pregnant with low probability of early labor, and thus ideal time for catching up before life becomes hectic. Let's plan something!! :)
